Welcome to Troutmask-Records
Troutmask-Records presents you the most actuell informations about some outstanding artists, bands, girls and other subjects who live or lived on this planet (more or less). Some of them are performing since more than 40 years, others are younger fellows. We like to provide you with news about tour dates, issues and reissues of records or even visual highlights, like videos or tv-appearances. If you think that some of our favoured artists are just history, something like oldies - then maybe you will be surprised about their unrelentless activities. So, from now on, you will be informed and there will be no apologize, if you miss a gig of your alltime-heroes just around the corner - means less than 1000 miles - or if you don`t know that there is no reason to play the same discs again and again. We will offer you a selected range of cd`s, vinyls, books and videos and we are proud to support these artists by distributing and promoting their creative outputs. I hope you enjoyed the Zappanale 14, like us and could be surprised and inspired, like us by the highlights of this highly recommended festival. You can get a lot of infos from www.zappanale.de. But 2 Bands I have to mention especially, cause I was overwhelmed by their powerful and really passionate performances:

- Doctor Dark, a Beefheart Tribute Band from New Haven, USA. Really Brilliant! The Real Thing!
- Paul Green's School of Rock Music!!! These boys and girls between 12 and 16 years got standing ovations from both the audience and all the other artists. The played some of Frank's most filthy and most complex songs and they did it with so much freshness and passion, that the people could hardly believe their eyes and ears. Congratulations to Paul Green.

As a result of this weekend, our contacts improved and we can now offer you a first range of CD's from our favourite artists to order from Troutmaskrecords. Some of them are US-Imports and have been hardly available in Europe. These CD's are delivered to us directly from the artists/bands and we hope to get on with some own productions:
